Pulsar Modulator 3 Channel Color Organ

Another classic from Pulsar! The is the original Modulator 3 channel color organ. These units were very common in roller skating rinks and classic disco clubs. The unit takes a common input from an outside source such as mixer board, microphone or amplified system and makes the output channels flash to different ranges of sound. On this unit there is an output for Bass, Treble and Mid-Range. You can have up to 1,000 watts per channel on the standard Edison plug or up to 700 watts per channel on the Bulgin style plug. If you need more output power you will need to add additional slave units. These connect through a special 5 pin connector on the rear. The front panel has control faders for brightness and contrast on each of the 3 channels and a master for control over the complete system. The unit also has direction and audio bypass if you want to use the controller as a simple chaser. This unit is circa 1979 and is a definite classic!! Unit made in England.

Pulsar Rainbow Strobe System

The original club strobe system circa 1979!! This is the Rainbow Strobe system from Pulsar. The system consists of 4 separate strobe heads and a controller. The strobes connect to the controller through a 1/4" mono cable. Each strobe uses a 60 watt xenon tube and for such low power it packs a mean punch! The strobes are in the original orange paint, but the newer units prom Pulsar are now black. The front lenses are plexi and the rear of the unit has a power switch and speed adjustment knob if you want to use the strobes without the controller. The controller features 4 separate channels. Each channel can be controlled independently or the strobes can be linked together for simultaneously with the selection knob on each channel. There is a master speed knob and selector for the audio (connected in the rear through a 1/4" cable) or manual control. Great system made in England.

Pulsar 1 - 10 Way Matrix / Zoner Controller

Another classic controller from Pulsar! This is the 10 way matrix chaser / zoner which is used with the 10 way chaser in order to create the Starburst and Starspin effects (Or combinations of both) similar to the ones LiteLab and METEOR produced from this era of time.  There is a auto speed knob for 2 different parameters of switching between effects.  There are 4 LED's for indication of the output status.  Connection is inside the unit with direct wiring terminals inside the unit.  The unit can run with the Pulsar 10 way Chaser unit, Zero 3000, Zero 4000 or can be interfaced with any other manufacturers   Unit output to make a matrix display.  This unit is the key to making the awesome lighting displays!  Unit made in England and is circa 1980!
