This is a tutorial for a basic beauty retouch. In the 18 minutes of the video I quickly go over my basic beauty techniques:-dodge and burn
-healing brush
-clone stamping (w/ different blend modes)
-liquify
-curves
-desaturation
-levels
-masking
-selective highlights
This is the first time I've made a tutorial and this is the first time I've unveiled any techniques publicly as it pertains to my techniques. I've recorded my actual retouch and then subsequently narrated my actions as I rewatch the video. The video is in double-time (2x original speed) and for whatever reason, QuickTime did not record the part of my screen with the menu bar so you can't see the menu bar above. Fortunately I don't use the menu bar too often.
I've created this video as a promotional video for my workshops. I teach group workshops either from my studio or soon with an organization and also conduct private workshops either in the studio or via iChat/Skype. I cover everything from prep-to-post. This means if you wanted to do a workshop with me you have a lot of options to attain whatever lesson/information/knowledge you need in a custom format. We can cover anything and everything from shooting to workflow to retouching to whatever. Literally anything. If you're local I can even source a model and a makeup artist for the private workshop.
Scheduling for workshops depends on my workload with other clients but I typically have weekends available for workshops as well as studio rentals. Private workshops conducted via Skype and iChat are easier to schedule since there's more flexibility with squeezing a few hours in here and there on a daily basis.
